Silver Jubilee Celebration of the Church of God in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Under the leadership of the United Pentecostal Convention, the Church of God (Full Gospel) in India, Kerala State, KSA Region, joyfully celebrated its 25th Anniversary (Silver Jubilee) and United Worship on September 12, 2025, in Riyadh. The event was marked by a powerful spiritual atmosphere. It was a remarkable day in the history of the Church of God ( Full Gospel) in Saudi Arabia.

The blessed celebration was inaugurated with prayer by President , Rev. Mathew George (Reji Thalavady), opening a new chapter in the spiritual history of Saudi Arabia. Evangelist Dr. Milton led the worship service.

The distinguished guest, Rev. Y. Reji, Kerala State Overseer of the Church of God, delivered the main message. His powerful sermon deeply touched hearts, inspiring many to make new commitments before the Lord.

Believers and ministers from various Pentecostal churches, beyond organizational boundaries, gathered together for this historic occasion. More than 1,200 believers and about 60 pastors participated in the united worship. Pastor K. K. Mathew (Assemblies of God, Malabar) read and exhorted from the Psalms, while Pastor Shaji Daniel (AG) introduced Rev. Y. Reji to the congregation.

As part of the Silver Jubilee, a souvenir was released by Rev. Y. Reji along with Pastor Reji Othara, President of the IPC Saudi Central Region. The pioneers of this ministry in Riyadh—Vadasserikkara Babu, Malas Mathew, and Unnoonny—were gratefully remembered.

Rev. Y. Reji’s message, based on Revelation 1:12, reminded the congregation that Jesus is always with His people—in Galilee, at the cross, and even with John on the island of Patmos. The assurance of Christ’s abiding presence gave new life and hope to many.

Assemblies of God Saudi Region President, Pastor C. T. Varghese, honored Rev. Y. Reji with a memento. The five weeks of fasting and prayer that preceded the event gave added spiritual strength to the convention.

This blessed Silver Jubilee celebration became a reality through the tireless efforts of Pastor Reji Thalavady, together with Pastor Jaison Abraham, Pastor Biju Mathew, Pastor Reni John, Pastor Reji Koshy, and brothers Rajan Daniel and Titus Mathew. In his thanksgiving remarks, Pastor Reji Thalavady expressed heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event.

Above all, all glory and honor are given to God Almighty.
