കളമശ്ശേരി സ്ഫോടനം: മരണം മൂന്നായി
കൊച്ചി: കളമശ്ശേരി യഹോവാ സാക്ഷി കണ്വെന്ഷന് സ്ഫോടനത്തില് പരിക്കേറ്റ് ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്ന 12 കാരി മരിച്ചു. മലയാറ്റൂര് സ്വദേശി ലിബിനയാണ് മരിച്ചത്. ഇതോടെ സ്ഫോടനത്തില് മരിച്ചവരുടെ എണ്ണം മൂന്നായി. സ്ഫോടനത്തില് 95 ശതമാനം പൊള്ളലേറ്റ് വെന്റിലേറ്ററിലായിരുന്ന കുട്ടിക്ക് മെഡിക്കല് ബോര്ഡ് നിര്ദേശപ്രകാരം ആവശ്യമായ ചികിത്സകള് നല്കി വരികയായിരുന്നു. മരുന്നുകളോടു പ്രതികരിക്കാതെ വരുകയും തിങ്കളാഴ്ച പുലര്ച്ചെ 12.40ന് മരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തെന്ന് അധികൃതര് അറിയിച്ചു.
എറണാകുളം കുറുപ്പുംപടി സ്വദേശി ലയോണ പൗലോസ് (60), തൊടുപുഴ സ്വദേശിയായ കുമാരി (53) എന്നിവരാണ് മരിച്ചമറ്റു രണ്ടുപേര്. 25ഓളം പേര് ചികിത്സയിലാണ്. ലയോണ പൗലോസിനെ ഞായര് രാത്രി വൈകിയാണ് തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞത്. സ്ഫോടനത്തില് ആദ്യം മരിച്ച സ്ത്രീയാണ് ലയോണ. കുമാരിയെ മരിച്ച ഉടനെ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞി രുന്നു. ലയോണയെ കാണാത്തതിനെതുടര്ന്ന് ബന്ധു പൊലീസില് പരാതിപ്പെടുകയായിരുന്നു. തുടര്ന്നാണ് രാത്രി വൈകി മൃതദേഹം തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞത്. ലയോണ ഒറ്റക്കാണ് കണ്വന്ഷനെത്തിയത്. ഇവരുടെ കൈയ്യിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന മോതിരം കണ്ടാണ് ബന്ധു തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞത്. വിദേശത്തുള്ള മകള് നാളെ എത്തിയശേഷം മൃതദേഹം തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞതിനുശേഷം മൃതദേഹം വിട്ടുകൊടുക്കും. അടുത്ത ബന്ധുക്കള് സ്ഥലത്ത് ഇല്ലാത്തതാണ് മൃതദേഹം തിരിച്ചറിയാന് വൈകിയത്. കളമശ്ശേരി നെസ്റ്റിനു സമീപം കണ്വെന്ഷന് സെന്ററിലാണ് ഞായര് രാവിലെ 9.40ഓടെ സ്ഫോടനം നടന്നത്. സംഭവത്തില് പ്രതിയായ എറണാകുളം കവടന്ത്ര സ്വദേശി ഡൊമിനിക് മാര്ട്ടിന് പോലീസില് കീഴടങ്ങിയിരുന്നു. ഇയാള് ഒറ്റക്കാണു സ്ഫോടനം ആസൂത്രണം ചെയ്തു നടപ്പാക്കിയതെന്നാണു വിവരം.
