ആലപ്പുഴ : സമുദായബോധം എന്നത് വർഗീയ ചിന്തയല്ലെന്നും അത് അഭിമാനമാണെന്നും ചങ്ങനാശേരി സഹായ മെത്രൻ മാർ തോമസ് തറയിൽ. ക്രൈസ്തവ സമൂഹത്തെ ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനായി നമ്മുടെ വരുംതലമുറ നാട്ടിൽ തന്നെ ജോലി കണ്ടെത്തണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. പുത്തനങ്ങാടി സെന്റ് ജോർജ് പള്ളിയിൽ നടന്ന കുടുംബക്കൂട്ടായ്മയുടെയും ഡിഎഫ്സി ഭാരവാഹികളുടെയും മഹാസംഗമം ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം.
“പെരുകി ലോകം കീഴടക്കുക. ലോകമെങ്ങും പോയി സുവിശേഷം പ്രഘോഷിക്കുക” എന്ന സുവിശേഷ ഭാഗത്തിന് ഊന്നൽ നൽകിക്കൊണ്ട് ക്രൈസ്തവ സഭയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള അഭിമാനബോധം എല്ലാവരിലും ഉണ്ടാകണമെന്നും സഭ ചെയ്യുന്ന കാരുണ്യ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ കാണാതെ പോകരുതെന്നും സഭ വരും തലമുറയ്ക്കായി ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്ന സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ ഉപയോഗപ്പെടുത്തി നമ്മുടെ സമുദായത്തെ മുൻപോട്ട് നയിക്കണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. തുടർന്നു നടന്ന സംവാദത്തിൽ ചോദ്യങ്ങൾക്ക് അദ്ദേഹം മറുപടി നൽകി.
