നഴ്സിങ് മേഖലയിലെ സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാരുകളുടെ അധികാരം എടുത്തുകളയുന്ന പുതിയ ബില്ലിനെതിരെ പ്രതിഷേധം. സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാരുകളുടെയോ സംസ്ഥാന നഴ്സിങ് കൌണ്‍സിലുകളുമായോ കൂടിയാലോചന നടത്താതെയാണ് കരട് ബില്‍ തയ്യാറാക്കിയത്.
ഈ കമ്മീഷന്‍ നിലവില്‍ വരുന്നതോടെ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ നഴ്സിങ് കൌണ്‍സിലും സംസ്ഥാന നഴ്സിങ് കൌണ്‍സിലുകളും ഇല്ലാതാവും. നാല് ഓട്ടോണമി ബോര്‍ഡുകളായിരിക്കും കമ്മീഷനിലുണ്ടാവുക. വിദഗ്ധരുമായി ചര്‍ച്ച ചെയ്യാതെയാണ് കരട് ബില്‍ തയ്യാറാക്കിയതെന്ന് കേരള നഴ്സിങ് കൌണ്‍സില്‍ പ്രസിഡന്‍റ് പറഞ്ഞു. അംഗങ്ങളുള്ള കമ്മീഷനില്‍ 40 അംഗങ്ങളെയും കേന്ദ്രസര്‍ക്കാര്‍ നോമിനേറ്റ് ചെയ്യുന്നവരായിരിക്കും. നഴ്സുമാരുടെ വേതനം, തൊഴില്‍ സുരക്ഷ തുടങ്ങിയ കാര്യങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ച് ബില്ലില്‍ പരാമര്‍ശമില്ല. ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ നഴ്സുമാരുള്ള കേരളത്തിന്‍റെ നഴ്സിങ് മേഖലയെ തകര്‍ക്കുന്ന ബില്ലിനെതിരെ പ്രതിഷേധം ശക്തമാക്കുമെന്ന് നഴ്സസ് അസോസിയേഷന്‍ അറിയിച്ചു.
