പാലക്കാട്: ക്രൈസ്തവര്‍ക്കെതിരെ ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ വര്‍ദ്ധിച്ചു വരുന്ന അതിക്രമങ്ങളില്‍ പ്രതിഷേധിച്ചു കെസിവൈഎം പന്തംകൊളുത്തി പ്രകടനം നടത്തി. കേരളത്തിലെ മുപ്പതോളം രൂപതകളുടെ പ്രതിനിധികള്‍ പ്രതിഷേധപരിപാടിയില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു. പാലക്കാട് യുവക്ഷേത്ര കോളജിനു മുന്പില്‍ നടന്ന പ്രകടനം സംസ്ഥാന ഡയറക്ടര്‍ ഫാ. തോമസ് ചാലക്കര പന്തം കത്തിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു.
കൃത്യമായ രാഷ്ട്രീയ ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങളോടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന വ്യക്തികളാണ് ഈ അതിക്രമങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പിന്നില്‍ എന്നു കെസിവൈഎം സംസ്ഥാന സമിതി അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു. സംസ്ഥാന പ്രസിഡന്റ് എഡ്വേഡ് രാജു അധ്യക്ഷനായിരുന്ന പ്രതിഷേധ യോഗത്തില്‍ സംസ്ഥാന ജനറല്‍ സെക്രട്ടറി ഷിജോ മാത്യു സ്വാഗതവും സംസ്ഥാന സിന്‍ഡിക്കറ്റ് അംഗം സൂരജ് പൗലോസ് വിഷയാവതരണവും നടത്തി. സംസ്ഥാന ഭാരവാഹികളായ റോസ്‌മേരി, ഫിലോമിന സിമി, അഗസ്റ്റിന്‍ ജോണ്, സാജന്‍ ജോസ് എന്നിവര്‍ പ്രസംഗിച്ചു.
